Why 1000Frogs is Free

Nothing is free, and that is also true of this website. Someone has to pay. In this case, it is the owner of the site. It is free for you. Why should I pay for you to have free access? The answer is simple. I am single. I have not found the women I want and I tried dating services, computer match making and matchmakers. After trying all of these, I figured I could do it better than they could. After all, they didn’t find me a mate so anything is better than a score of zero. I spoke to a lot of folks and they all said the same thing. Score zero. This site may success for three reasons:

1. It’s free so it will have lots of people signing up. After all, it’s free why not take a chance?
2. I designed the questions myself. I am not trying to get people to give me money so I asked questions that I think are important in finding a mate. I don’t claim to be a professional matchmaker but at least I know what I think is important.
3. I asked a lot more questions than most sites so you have a higher chance of matching someone with the same like/dislikes as you. I know I didn’t ask the one question you really wanted to know, but then you can’t say that in polite company! ;-)

Before you sign up

1. PHOTOS. You must post a photo. Folks without photos get no dates because everyone figures you have something to hide. If you think you are fat don’t worry about it. There are lots of folks who don’t care. You need to post a recent, good quality color photo. The more photos the better. If you don’t have any to upload then go to the Walmart, Wallgreens, CVS or any other photomat. They can take care of it for you.
2. LYING. If you lie on this site, then I will kick you off for life. A little white lie, a fib and all other such nonsense is still a lie. You will not be able to join under a different name or at a different time. Lie to yourself, if you want but don’t lie here. If you don’t agree then try me. I forgot more about computers than most people ever learned.
3. ADVERTISEMENTS. If you post advertisements as a personal I will come after you. Believe me pal, you don’t want me after you. If you want to put up an advertisement that you think the members here will be interested in put it in the section reserved for that. It’s also free. I reserve the right to delete anything I want since I am paying the bill, not you.
4. WARRANTY. There is no warranty. Everything is provided as-is-where-is.
5. KOOKS. I have no way of telling if the person posting is a kook or worse. Use some common sense. Before you meet someone make sure a friend knows where you are going and whom you are meeting. This site records a lot of information about you and I will provide it to police upon request.
6. PRIVACY. There is no privacy here. If you don’t want the public to know something then don’t say it. This site (like most) records a lot of information about you. Enough that the police or my lawyers can find you if I want. See kooks above.
7. SEARCHING. When searching for your mate remember that Clark Gable is dead and Clark Kent never existed. When you are searching don’t bother looking for what isn’t there. In addition most of the shallow people will be going for the folks that look like fashion models. The other 99% will not be bothered as much. If you are not one of the fashion model types then be grateful they are attracting the fickle people and you don’t have to put up with them.
